CSW North America acts as the parent company's exclusive agent for all operations in North America including distribution and resale of all products; development of channel partnerships; and delivery of associated services. 

CSW’s knowledge management products are designed to support medium and large-sized pharmaceutical companies that have made a commitment to the knowledge architectures and new paradigms in content management. In healthcare, CSW’s products support organizations at the local and regional level, where communities have made a commitment to the deployment of patient-centric electronic health records that require integration from multiple care providers and source systems.

In 2006, CSW-NA became one of the original members of the Health Record Banking Association (HRBA), a non-profit corporation formed to assist stakeholders in the promotion of community repositories of electronic health records.

CSW is also an active member of various trade and standards bodies, such as Health Level Seven (HL7), the Organization for the Advancement of Structured Information Standards (OASIS) and the International SGML/XML Users' Group (ISUG). This helps to support the continual development of our products and shape the direction of innovative technology and open standards in the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries.
